"Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and French President Francois Hollande, unveil "Open Book" by British artist Diane Maclean, offered to Paris by Britain's Queen, as Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo looks on, during a visit to the Flower Market (Marche aux Fleurs) in Paris, Saturday, June 7, 2014. Queen Elizabeth finished her three-day state visit to France following the international D-Day commemoration ceremonies in Normandy, marking the 70th anniversary of the World War II Allied landings in Normandy. The reflections and colour on the surface of the sculpture are created by light. This is appropriate as Paris is known as the City of Light. The sculpture will be permanently located in a site close to the Champs Elysees later in the year.
