4 identical pyramidal forms compose the sculpture. Silver-paInted, they reflect sun and shadow.Timeless geometry, the simple form of the sculpture conveys a sense of harmony and unity against its natural setting. The pyramids of ancient Egypt were built to endure forever, symbolically reaching to the sky and eternal life.
Rose Rose provides the botanical element among my 4 sculptures on display. The rich colour is created by natural light entering a fine oxide on the polished surface of the stainless steel. Wing stands against the sky, perhaps conveying a longing for flight. Snake has sprung up from the grass and Flutter has settled on it to display its colour.
2 sculptures : Inspired by nature, I search for an illusive form. There is a simple form I come back to again and again, the shape the wind makes on sand or the shape of a flame, a fish, a leaf. I claim it for my own but it exists everywhere.
A geometric stainless steel sculpture in which all the circles were cut from a single sheet and assembled in a rising form. First exhibited in my solo exhibition at Salisbury Cathedral in 2019.
